Farook Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and a Master’s degree in International Security Studies from Georgetown University. Following his graduation from Princeton University, he lived and worked in South Korea as a Princeton-in-Asia fellow.

After receiving his MA from Georgetown, Farook worked as a research analyst at the Institute for the Study of War, where he focused his research on the conduct of the counter-insurgency campaign in Iraq as well as Iraqi political developments.

At Battelle, Inc. Farook consults with the Department of Homeland Security's Office of Infrastructure Protection.
