NEXT AMERICA TERMS & CONDITIONS
Next America registration is free. Next America allows our users an opportunity to discuss and debate issues related to foreign policy examined by our fellows. We welcome and encourage our visitors to participate in the comments section, and simply ask that you so in a tasteful, intelligent, and respectful manner. Commenting is completely voluntary and users who complete Next America’s registration agree to abide by the following terms and conditions specific to this service:
- Users agree to accept full responsibility and legal liability for the content of the messages posted under their username and password and are thusly responsible for protecting and securing the use of their username and password.
- Users agree not to use Next America to post any material that is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually demeaning or offensive, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise violative of any U.S. law.
- Users also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the user owns the copyright or if proper academic citation guidelines are followed.
- Users understand and accept that each comment posted on Next America is the express view of the author and in no way represents the opinion of Next America, its editors, affiliates, sponsors, fellow or administrators, The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), or any of its officers, trustees, or staff.
- Next America makes no representations or warranties about the quality, content, or accuracy of any comment posted on Next America. Furthermore, Next America and The Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) are not responsible and will not be held liable for the contents of any comment, any errors or omissions in the comments, for hyperlinks embedded in the comments, or for any results or outcomes, including losses or damages, resulting from use of such information.
- Next America reserves the right to monitor comments and edit or remove any material that is deemed, in its sole discretion, to be illegal, fraudulent, libelous, in violation of the Next America terms and conditions, or could potentially subject Next America or The Center for Strategic International Studies (CSIS) to liability or defamation.
- Next America reserves the right to deny any user access the site at any time for any reason.
- Users accept and acknowledge Next America’s right to disclose comments, authors' user information, and the circumstances surrounding their transmission to any third party in order to operate the Site properly, to protect ourselves and our visitors, and to comply with any legal obligations or governmental requests.
